Hello Blooming Insiders, and welcome to…
This year's allergy season has been particularly severe for me, so I wasn’t able to film a full session with you all without feeling discomfort. 🤧 But thankfully, I managed to record the meditation before it hit me. Whew!
This month’s Inner Bloom is feeling extra wholesome and tender in the best way possible. It’s a full-circle moment because our very first session back in October 2024 was focused on reconnecting with your inner child. I promised I’d do more inner child sessions, and with June marking the start of summer, I thought it’d be the perfect time to bring them back.
The guided meditation for this month has been collecting dust in my Notes app for far too long, and I’m excited to share it with you finally! The setting is a dreamy treehouse inspired by the movie Now and Then and the 80s sitcom Punky Brewster. As a child, I’ve ALWAYS wanted a treehouse. I wasn’t lucky enough to have one like the girls I saw on TV, so I wanted to create this meditation as a gift for my inner child and yours! 🌳🏡
Think of this meditation session as an invitation to play. Allow the silliness to take over, to color outside the lines, scribble your feelings, use vibrant colors, and create without pressure and self-judgment. It’s all about giving your inner child the space to be seen, heard, held, and to express themselves freely. Your inner child is very much a part of you, so take this session to be fully present with them.
Let’s begin, slowly and gently.
To my lovely free subscribers, if this preview inspires you and you’d like to become a Blooming Insider, Inner Bloom is available to subscribers for $8/month. Each session is a mindful, creative ritual. We’ll alternate between guided meditations and art journaling, which will help you connect with yourself, your creativity, and your dreams in a fun and meaningful way.
I would be happy to see you join in on the fun! 🌷🌿✨
Gather any items that remind you of your inner child. Here are some suggestions:
A photo of your younger self
You can hold onto it while you’re meditating, or have it framed sitting across from you so you can feel into its energy
An old toy
Your inner child’s favorite teddy bear or blanket
Your inner child’s favorite book
Ways you can meditate:
Sitting on a chair or couch, with your feet firmly planted on the ground, spine straight, and hands resting on your thighs or knees
Sitting on the floor cross-legged with a pillow beneath you, spine straight, and hands resting on your thighs or knees
Lying down (as long as you’re fully awake)
Sitting under a tree
palms up for receiving and openness, or palms down for grounding
